Our stay at Los Tucanes Lodging was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious, with a stunning view of the mountain. The owner was friendly and helpful, organizing all our travel arrangements and even resolving a miscommunication with a transportation company. We enjoyed watching the beautiful birds that frequented the hotel feeder. The location was charming and peaceful, perfect for a one-night stay off the beaten track. We got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the lake and volcano from our balcony. The staff, especially Fanny, our innkeeper, were accommodating and gracious, even with the language barrier.

The menu for breakfast could be improved with more options for cereal bowls.

We had an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano from our upper unit at Los Tucanes Lodging. The room was spacious and clean, and the owner was very accommodating. The nearby restaurant, Fusion Grill, also had a fantastic view and an adorable chef, Chef Benedict, who made our dining experience memorable. The free WiFi was a bonus.

I had such a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast in the heart of nature. The location was perfect, tucked away in a peaceful area away from the tourist crowds. The family who runs the place was incredibly kind and made the most delicious breakfasts. Although we had a small issue with the hot water, it was quickly resolved the next day. The highlight of my trip was the butterfly sanctuary right across the street - truly magical. I highly recommend Los Tucanes Lodging for a slice of paradise in Costa Rica.

Nothing everything was great.

I recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast in an adorable village near Arenal National Park. The location was perfect - close to the selva and not as touristy as La Fortuna. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with AC and a spacious layout. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner went above and beyond to make sure our travel arrangements were organized. The bird watching on the hotel grounds was incredible, and the nearby restaurants had delicious and affordable food. I can't wait to stay here again when I return to the area.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 days while visiting Volcán Arenal and the surrounding areas. Our verandah had an incredible view of the volcano and we enjoyed watching tropical birds at the feeder each morning. The hotel is conveniently located near a small market where we could easily buy food for our kitchenette. The room was clean and the addition of a fridge, coffee machine, and kitchenware was a nice touch. The owner was friendly and helped us with our travel arrangements. The birdwatching experience and proximity to local attractions made our stay here truly enjoyable.

The beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have a way to hang up wet clothes, especially during the humid and rainy weather.
